3 Channel LED Color Organ - Lite Responds to Sound - Includes all parts & printed circuit board.
PLEASE READ THIS, AND INSTRUCTION LINK BEFORE BUY !No Paper Instructions.
This is a kit form, get yourself a circuit that controls 12V LED Strip Lights in response to ambient sound. This circuit is powered from low voltage. 12VDC nominally (10V to 16V), or 9VAC, and can control up to 750 milliamps of LED's per channel.
An on-board microphone, or line level input (RCA phono Jack) picks up ambient sound and modulates the lights. Each of the 3 channels responds to a certain portion of the audio spectrum (Bass, Mid-range, and Treble). This circuit is a major improvement over the old "color organ" circuit of the 70s. That circuit used probability (hit-n-miss) to roughly adjust brightness. This circuit uses true proportional pulse-width-modulation (PWM), to adjust brightness. Its not that crappy "color organ" circuit, of the 70's, that has just been blindly aped on the internet. No real original thought !
Board measures 3.00in x 2.75in (75 x 70mm). It has 6, #4 (0.12", 3mm) mounting holes.
Note: The kit only includes the PCB and parts ! Not, the lamps, and sockets shown in one of the photos ! Its a KIT !!!!
All kits are sorted and stored, in individual anti-static bags. They are shipped that way to the customer.
It's a "KIT" !!! That means you get a bare board, and parts. You must solder it together ! That's what KIT means !
You can order the Pre-Built Version, see same page !
You will need a Power Supply as well, you can use one of ours, or your own !
